Diversity Funding Opportunities

The Office for Institutional Diversity is providing funding for students interested in traveling to the Graduate Schools at the University of Maryland, College Park, Howard University and Mississippi Sate University.  If you are interested in pursuing graduate school and would like to take advantage of this funding opportunity, please submit a detailed letter explaining your interest to the Office of Institutional Diversity, Warriner 319 no later than February 17, 2007.  Travel dates to University of Maryland and Howard University will take place after March 2007.  The Mississippi State trip will take place on April 13-14, 2007   

The Office for Institutional Diversity is interested in providing funding for students who wish to attend the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity (NCORE) to be held in San Francisco, California on May 29-June 2, 2007.  Interested students should send an essay explaining in detail their interest in diversity at CMU.  Essays should be sent to the Office for Institutional Diversity at 319 Warriner Hall by March 15, 2007.
